About the CIP S.H.A.R.E.S. Initiative

Teachers traditionally spend countless hours each month searching the Internet for ideas, creating instructional materials, and carefully evaluating materials to determine which will be best to use with students.  These same tasks are carried out by each teacher which duplicates efforts across numerous classrooms.  What if there was a way to limit the duplication of effort and allow teachers to access each other’s instructional materials?

Since the inception of the Comprehensive Instructional Program, teachers have requested a larger repository of instructional materials organized by standards and bullets.  To that end, we have developed a process by which teachers across the CIP consortium may submit instructional materials to share with everyone.  Google Forms will be used to collect these materials which will then be automatically shared to everyone via the CIP website.  This is called the CIP Sharing Helps All Realize Educational Success (SHARES) initiative.

There will be a separate SHARES Google Form for each course in the CIP website that is linked to that course’s web page.  To submit materials, simply click on the link, and attach as many files as you would like to each standard.  Please do not submit any copyrighted materials.

As soon as someone submits a file to this initiative, it will become automatically available to everyone.  To access these materials, please click on the “SHARES Materials” found on the left side of the course’s CIP web page.
